Sewing, knitting and crocheting classes for young and old.
We believe that by learning the basics of sewing, students will begin to form a foundation to build on, whether they go into fashion design, sew for the home or themselves and others.
These classes would also make an excellent option for extra-curricular activities for students.
Whether you are a beginner or just need a refresher course, these classes are for you. Classes are offered in twelve-week group sessions at $300.00/session. We also offer private classes at a rate of $30/hour. A minimum of two hours is recommended for private classes.*
Hems and Stitches also offers other services, from instruction on how to use your sewing machine, new or old, to understanding how to read and interpret a pattern. We do some alterations, and garment construction is also offered.
Our class hours have changed. We now have morning hours, later evening hours and weekend hours.
